Wind Turbines

Just a quick update on the Thorington Barn Wind Turbine situation.

PFR (Partnership For Renewables) have now decided to apply to Babergh District Council to construct two 130 metre Wind Turbines. One of these Turbines will be on Ipswich Borough Council land about 1200metres from the nearest homes in Stoke park.

The other Turbine would be on private land the far side of the railway land near Pannington Hall (Jimmy`s Farm) this will be about a mile from Stoke Park.

PFR have told us that they have taken into account public feedback and moved the development further away from local residents.

Public consultation events will be held from 1 to 7pm on Monday January 28th at Belstead Brook Hotel and on Tuesday 29th at Belstead Village Hall
