Parkour In Ipswich

Parkour you may of seen it and watched it and not even known what it is, its been used in films like Casino Royale and the Bourne series and in video games like Assassins Creed but what is it.

Parkour is a holistic training discipline using movements developed out of military obstacle courses. It involves people moving quickly though their environment using only their bodies and surroundings to propel themselves. It is basically running climbing vaulting jumping and what ever is seen as suitable for the situation.

It is fun and fantastic to watch,and now there is a chance for our youngsters to get involved FOR FREE !!!

Ipswich Borough Council are running a 8 week course for people over 14 from the 17th May at Whitton Sport Centre
